#ESACon21 is a two-part event in 2021 consisting of an in-person conference that will take place, December 1-3 in Phoenix, Arizona, and a virtual #ESACon21 that took place April 21-22.

The conference will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center in downtown Phoenix, AZ.  The address is: 100 N. 3rd Street, Phoenix, AZ.  For more information about the Convention Center, including about the area, parking, etc., visit: www.phoenixconventioncenter.com.

ESA is looking forward to Reconnecting, Reenergizing and Returning to the largest gathering of energy of energy storage at #ESACon21.  Even as restrictions are lifted, your safety continues to be our number one concern. We will monitor and follow guidance from public health agencies on the safest way to welcome you to Phoenix and to all the education and networking opportunities at #ESACon21 later this year.  We will continually update you on any rules or restrictions that change and appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to plan and execute a safe and responsible #ESACon21 allowing all of us in the Energy Storage Industry an opportunity to join in Phoenix for #ESACon21.

#ESACon21 is the premiere event for those involved in the energy storage industry to learn about market trends and gain critical knowledge to drive their business or career in energy storage. This is a must attend event for professionals across the industry, including grid operators, government officials, storage developers and innovators, investors, and corporate buyers.

While we would love to have all companies that involved in the energy storage industry, #ESACon21 is open to everyone interested in energy storage.  #ESACon21 is the premier conference for the entire energy storage industry. #ESACon21 features speakers from across the energy storage ecosystem, on topics ranging from long duration storage, supply chain and trade issues, new markets, distributed energy resources, policy and more. From discussions of state regulatory and legislative policy to federal infrastructure, all aspects of policy and advocacy are examined for the impact on energy storage in the year ahead.

The registration pass will include access to the Expo, networking and educational sessions.  The pass will also include a number of food functions which will be clearly labeled on the agenda.  The pass will not include access to the Learning Labs or the Site Tours which must be separately added to your pass with an additional fee.

The Learning Labs are a pre-conference educational session that is designed to provide more in-depth and interactive learning opportunities.  There will be four (4) Learning Labs presented at #ESACon21.  The additional fee is $200 for ESA Members/$250 for NonMembers.  The number of registrants for the Learning Labs will be limited.  We encourage those who are interested in attending these additional opportunities to register early.

ESA had a Call for Speakers for #ESACon21. The deadline for submissions was Friday, July 23 at 8:00PM ET/5:00PM PT.

Payments for registrations passes are due upon receipt. Passes that are cancelled prior to 8:00PM ET/5:00PM PT on Friday, September 3, 2021 will be refunded minus a $100 administrative fee.  Registration that are cancelled after 8:00PM/5:00PM PT on Friday, September 3, 2021 through 8:00PM ET/5:00PM PT on Friday, November 17, 2021 will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total fee paid.  There is no refund for cancellations made after 8:00PM ET/5:00PM PT on Friday, November 17, 2021.  Up through 8:00PM ET/5:00PM PT on Friday, November 17, 2021, substitutions for registration passes will be accepted.  Due to the implementation of Express Entry, substitutions will not be accepted after 8:00PM ET/5:00PM PT on Friday, November 19, 2021.

For companies that are interested in having 10 or more staff attend #ESACon21, we will offer a group discount.  Please contact the ESA Events Team at events@energystorage.org for more information. Registrants must be registered as a group with a primary registrant.  Individuals who register outside of the group will not be eligible for the group discount.

Unfortunately, due to the safety protocols that ESA and the Phoenix Convention Center will be enacting, there will be no on-site registration.  All attendees must be fully registered no later than 8:00PM ET/5:00PM PT on Friday, November 17 ,2021.

To provide for a crowd-free check-in process, ESA will be introducing Express EntryExpress Entry will provide for registrants to pick up their badges and conference materials at the three (3) host hotels. Only those registrants staying within official host hotels will get this benefit. Once you get to the Conference Center, you do not have anything left to do but enjoy the conference.  Please keep in mind that badges will be required to enter all parts of the conference including but not limited to the Expo, education sessions, meetings, etc.  Anyone not reserving a room at a Host Hotel by November 1st will be assessed a $150USD administration fee so that we can provide alternative Express Entry accommodations.  Local attendees will be assigned an Express Entry desk at which to pick up their badge and conference materials.

While we encourage attendees and their family to explore the Phoenix area, only registered attendees will be allowed into the conference and to official conference events.

In hosting #ESACon21, the ESA Events Team also works to securing hotel rooms for attendees that are close to the venue and at a discounted rate.  This is part of the investment that ESA makes for our attendees.  In order to continue to provide this benefit, we need for our attendees to book at our host hotels.  Our hotels provide: easy access to the Conference Center; Express Entry options; increased networking opportunities; and discounted hotel rates.
